Sound Technician Expectations

Responsible for:

• Adjusting sound levels as needed to provide a good band mix and appropriate levels for speaking parts
• Providing a distraction-free service as it relates to audio production
• Maintaining an appropriate level of sound during different parts of the service
  • Worship should average 88-92dBa in the Sanctuary
• Assist band with equipment such as microphones and adjusting in-ears
• Testing audio components before service
  • Headset(s)
  • Handheld(s)
  • Audio from media including computer and iPad
• Attending Saturday practice, Sunday morning rehearsal, and both services

Not Responsible for:

• Setting out wires, mics, speakers, etc.
• Turning things on on stage (keyboard, pedal boards, etc.)
